This is an offshoot of the 5.x port.

To fix functionality of all forms, we need to implement proper multistep forms for Drupal 5.

Proper multistep forms have been implemented in node_import-6.x-1.0-rc2. It will not be back-ported to 5.x. Setting it as fixed.
