I would like to move the login form to the search block in the traditional style of almost every main stream site. I want to style it so that when placed in that block I can have a simple horizontal side by side user:pass setup but it seems like the template will not let me change the default display.

I am not sure if this is my lack of knowledge in drupal templating or possible something to do with the inter workings of the template. Could you please help me out or point me in the right direction so I can make the changes myself.

I believe it would be a nice enhancement of this theme to have block delimited styles.

please, i'd love to have a reply to this challenge, as i would also love to move my user login to the search area but with horizontal (side by side fields) for username and password like in bartik. thanks
