Case info: On a multi-language drupal-7.12 site with Bartik theme and captcha-beta2, with no blocks on the 1st sidebar, and search block on the 2nd side bar.

There are two problems:

when an anonymouse user visits /contact?lang=tr, it does not show captcha at all. But when attempted to submit, captcha shows up on the form with a "missing captcha" error message. contact form in default language has no problem.

when you login with an admin account and go to a basic page with no captcha enabled, "CAPTCHA: no challenge enabled" message gets placed into the search block inside the 2nd side bar.

After clearing the cache, the first problem vanished. 2nd problem is still there..

Second problem is because you have the option "Add CAPTCHA administration links to forms" enabled
