so, i have some generic content, and i'm using entity relations to reference one node and then when i go to view the node, i correctly see "what links here" with the view enabled (the default "back links" view) - but it is completely empty.

am i missing something? i thought that the default back links view automagically scooped up references (entity relations)

you have to go into advanced views and apply contextual filters (for the references - look for "relations")

Thanks! But I couldn't find exactly what you are referring to. In Advanced, there is a contextual filter set for Search:Links to. What else should be changed? I don't see "relations" but I see "Relationships" and I don't know what to do there.
