I think that project creator doesn't support anymore this important module for CCK. Is it possibile for someone, take control over module management?

dopry said he's only currently busy, but will start improving filefield again very soon. Let's see what happens in the next one or two months - if the situation doesn't change by then, we can still consider intrusive actions like this.
