When attaching images to the activity stream, they do not appear unless text is entered with the image share. Any ideas how to fix this?

ps, the same thing happens when trying to share a link.

Not only images do not show but no error message is displayed leaving the user somehow puzzled with what is happening. I think this is critical.

Check this issue I posted to the developer of FBMSP at https://drupal.org/node/1834252
The proposed solution there does not solve the issue at all in Commons.

The version is 6.x-2.10.

Changed to "major" because although this only affects a small component it is a central component of Commons and users can be confused due to not having, at least, an error message.
