Using D7.12

I installed soundmanager, created a field

when I want to upload the mp3 file, I get this message:
You must install and select at least one player to be able to play the audio.
and also a mention: "the files must be LESS than 0 octets"

seems to be impossible in a Article content, but works in a simple page content...

Hi,

judging by the error message, you're using the Audiofield field, which Soundmanager2 doesn't support yet. Currently it only supports the core filefield field type.

There's a request for merging Soundmanager2 into Audiofield ( Merge with audiofield module and Add support for soundmanager2?). Haven't used audiofield so don't know how much effort it would be to build, but it seems like Audiofield doesn't support playlists, which might or might not be a problem.

Updating this issue to a feature request for audiofield integration.

thanks, i got the solution by using

field, type file widget: file then: manage display: format: ui360
