Does it happens only for Openlayers ? sounds like a views issue.

I tried to test this more rigorously and yes, it appears to happen with other kind of views as well.

This happens with me on just about anything with a popup. For example, I click on a field under Fields and then click the Cancel button it will tell me that changes have been made and need to be saved. I don't use OL Views it happens with just views.
