I would like to do the following:

1) Have multiple content sections on a page, for example Section A, Section B, Section C, with each section having a title and body.
2) Allow users with appropriate priveleges to edit content in sections
3) Display section titles on a different, summary page, and give users the ability to click on the title to take them to the page from #1 above

I am new to Drupal, but have searched the forums and don't have a clear sense of how to do this, or if it is possible without custom coding.

It is called Taxonomy (alias sections and categories). Its very very powerfull and will do what you wnat to do.

And if this solved you problem, would you be so kind to report back that it helped? This will
help others whom are looking for the same solution.
