When a user creates new content, the reference field option limit does not autoload dependent on the default value of the limiting field value. The user must manually select a value for the limiting field value.

Is it possible to limit the field option limit upon content creation, as opposed to doing it manually?

This works for me. Can you try the latest dev release?

I have:

- field 'sport' controlling field 'team'
- set field sport to have 'football' as its default value
- when I go to create a new node, the 'team' field is already limited.
