Is it possible that location could support entering latitude/longitude info in the more human readable d:m:s format?

#222127: different type of lat/lon input marked dupe.
In that issue, schoolcraft13 asked for xxxxxN or xxxxxW format.

Personally I could use entry in UTM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Transverse_Mercator_coordinate_sy...

It would be awesome to have just one field and then a best effort interpretation on whatever the user feeds into it.

I would like to have this in UTM as well.

So the fields will be [Grid, X, Y] and the data will be something like this [47P, 679815, 1513661]

Making active as there is no longer need for postponed.

Someone will have to provide a patch though.
