First off, sorry I'm such a newb just started here.. I was assigned to add 5 recent blog post feeds onto the front page of our website using views. however whenever I edit the view "front_page" I attempt to add a new page, edit all the proper inputs and add the path as the URL to our blogs page. Though, whenever I load the front page nothing has changed?? I have checked that front_page for views is enabled in drupal in order for the site to use it as the front page, I've tried creating separate views for the blogs however cannot attach them to the front page still. I have scoured the drupal.org to no avail, I'm hoping it isn't because it is such a rudimentary task.. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Scott

merlinofchaos commentedThe frontpage view is just a copy of the default Drupal frontpage. It isn't actually used as your frontpage unless you set it to do so in the configuration.

sheeb commentedThank you! However, I've searched all over the views site configuration (admin>siteconfig>views) but cannot find how to set the main drupal website to use views frontpage as the front page. Any advice? Thanks

merlinofchaos commentedIt's probably just easier to send you to the right page: admin/config/system/site-information

sheeb commentedGreat thank you a ton for the help!! Waiting for admin to allow me access to change the sites default home page... internal HR stuff you know how it goes... I'll let you know, but this sounds promising. Thanks again,
