I see that in the folder js/lib jquery-1.7.1 is included... I cant see it being used anywhere, I'm I wrong?

Nope, you're right. It's a remnant of the HTML5 boilerplate that I forgot to remove. Feel free to delete it. I'll have a cleaner version out soon.
