HTML5 support

Just a question: is HTML5 support planned for the future, or will this be developed in a separate (sub) module (because of the "SWF" in the current name)?

I know VideoJS is frequently used for instance. There is already a VideoJS module - which may come in handy, be it for code or a collaboration with its maintainer. Just an idea, no pressure.
