I don't know, that is the desired behavior. Please provide more detail if you are having issues.

Thanks,
Jacob

I'm going to close for inactivity if not updated in 1 week, feel free to re-open later though if still an issue.

This does not appear to be an issue in http://drupal.org/node/206855 (assuming it ever was). Also stale.

I enabled admin role module. Assigned the role I wanted to be 'admin'. And checked the access control permissions. Auto-enabling of everything for my role did not occur. I'm assuming that is how this module is supposed to worK?

When you select the role you want to be admin, it should enable all the checkboxes on the admin screen.

Thanks for the confirmation on how the module is supposed to work. It didn't enable for the role I selected. There was no error message.

Same problem here.

You have to go to admin/build/modules and submit the page for it to work I think.

Try this.

I just installed this module. At first, I too did not see the 'automatic' assigning of all permissions. Then I realized that the "Configuration" instruction (Step 2) would read better if it's something like:
2. Go to "http://yoursitename.com/admin/user/adminrole" ?

I'm just guessing that this was the problem for at least two of the posters here?
BTW, this is a very useful little module :)
