It would be extremely helpful to be able to reduce the size of images before pushing them to the server. For example, I have an iPhone 4S and the image sizes straight out of the camera are 4-5MB. When I try to attach more than 1 image to a node and submit the transfer takes a very long time on wifi. Reducing the size of the images using some preset (Original, Large, Medium, Small) would speed up the transfer greatly.
It seems that when a transfer takes a long time and the phone automatically locks... even if I immediately unlock it and put in my PIN the transfer is stalled and never recovers. I haven't tested that too much yet but I'll submit a bug report if it persists. I only mention it because it's a symptom of the transfers taking so long.
Thanks!
