The Update Status module doesn't appear to track the User Points module. It would be cool if it did. Since it tracks other modules okay, I imagine there is something missing from the User Points mod.

Sorry for spamming the participants in this issue. Due to the release of Drupal 7 and the lack of time from the maintainers, I'm closing all remaining 5.x issues for Userpoints.
Feel free to re-open this issue or create a new one for 6.x or even better 7.x if this bug is still open or feature is missing for these versions.

kbahey commentedI put in a fix for this, but not sure if it will work or not.
Basically, the version= line in the .info file has to have "$Name: $", not "$NAME: DRUPAL-5$".
So, I will create an official build, and see what happens. Please confirm here after 5.x-2.7 is available for download.

dami commentedI am still using 5.x-1.1 on one of my sites, and 5.x-2.7 does show as the latest on update status page.
