Direct support of csv files

Is it possible to adapt, enhance to syntax to accept a cvs file direct eg

[table= first, second, third, fourth
22, 44, 66, 88
56, , ,
Red, yellow, green, blue]

I am aware this would mean you could not use. , within the text but there could be a tick box within the admin setup for those who do want to use this feature
