Works fine for me when time-based cache is enabled.

1- What kind of caching are you talking about? views query/output caching, page cache, reverse-proxy?
2- What happens if you enable that cache, infinite scrolls breaks? what are the symptoms?

I take this back my confirmation, after playing around more the problem I'm experiencing is likely not related to caching. I will open another issue que.
