cannot get rid of redirection

In settings I changed path for redirection. Instead of m.example.com I put example.com/node/8 and created the page at node 8. Did it because setting "node 8" in advanced settings did not redirected my mobile browser as expected. I left "node 8" in advanced settings for redirection, changed the path in top selection box and now I am being redirected to node 8 even from desktop.
Which prevents me from administering the website. All links now redirect to node 8 on my website.
Reinstalling drupal and mobile_tools module helps for until I restore /html/sites. After that I get redirection issue again.
Where do I look for settings that I may just change manually?
