Is there a way to limit the navigation on this calendar to not proceed beyond the Starting year
and Ending year of Event date (under Filter criteria). Even though it doesn't display events past this point, it still navigates all through many years on empty fields. I just wanted to make sure im not missing a setting?

There is no such setting provided by the plugin, and I can't think of anything clever to solve this from the module side right now. Leaving this open in case I think of something.

I've volunteered to help clean up the FullCalendar issue queue. As part of that effort I'm closing issues open for unsupported versions of the module as "Closed (outdated)". That includes any Drupal 7-compatible versions because no active maintainer is supporting them.

If this issue is still relevant for version 3.x of FullCalendar, then feel free to re-open it and update the issue version number.
