For my own project I am putting a Services 3 API over Drupalchat. Nothing magical, but it seems this would be a good sub-project to include with Drupalchat. Is there interest in having me clean up this code and send it over as a patch? I could possibly have it ready for review within one week.

Update: Patch is done (well it was done last week really) but the test code for the services endpoint turned out to be somewhat painful to figure out. I have a working pattern for that now though and hope to find time to have the tests completed this weekend.
