how to make languageicons switch between domains?

I am planning to install domain access in a website but I want first to make sure nothing will break.

In the site content is translated between spanish and english and there is a block provided by languaicons that allow viewing the translated counterpart.

If I add domain access and I assign each language to each domain, will languageicons bring me from one domain to the other? Anyone has experience?
