clemens.tolboomLet's merge your sandbox into this project.
No need for wasting namespaces ... or do you think imagefield magazinelayout is better?
The gif
tabove is very cool :)Comment #2
dman commentedI don't have any attachment to the name at all, but it was really hard to remember the keywords, or describe this to someone who is searching for it. I saw your project come through the new projects RSS feed long ago, but it took me a long while searching to find it here this time.
"Composition" sounds nicer, but I was thinking technically of keywords :-)
"It's a field formatter that will render my imagefield using what Harvey called a magazine layout"
I don't think we'll have a lot of code or functionality in common, but if we call the D6 branch a new beginning, I can join it in here, sure!

clemens.tolboomFor me the name magazinelayout is nice although I still would search for image and compose I guess.
Your project (and so would mine if I had more time than ideas) should also get a view display format equally well. So the name imagefield it a little too narrow I guess.
Feel free to claim the image_composition project if that suits you for a D6 version and beyond :)
If you want I can participate then through my current membership.
Again awesome gif demo :)

dman commentedTrue imagefield is too specific - it describes JUST my effort today, but there are a few other places this effect could work so yeah. And "magazine layout" is just a shout-out to the original idea.
"Image Composition" is fine by me. If I add some keywords and a preview image on the project page.
So, can you add me to the maintainers on this proj and I can do my git merge.
