"ul.nice-menu ul" z-index is 5 in nice_menus.css. If there are other elements on a site, then it is hidden behind them.
I suggest making the z-index something like 9999.

Hmm. You have the opportunity to change that with your own css if you are so inclined. I'm not sure I want to be throwing around big numbers by default.

If others have strong feelings on this, I'm open to hearing them.
