Hi all,

I am presently learning DGardens...and am frustrated with the time it takes to upload and make changes to webpages. In some cases...i will sit for 1-2 mins to make a simple change (sigh)

As far as Uploading changes speedwise....Is Drupal 7 the same as DG?

Why so slow?

I have never used DG, so I don't know their setup. You might want to get their help in diagnosing and fixing your problem. Have you tried turning on caching/aggregation? Drupal 7 is resource heavy and does need a decent server. http://drupal.org/requirements

yeah...we've all been talking with DG about this issue. Its a problem.

IF the speed is better...i'll move over to D7 asap.

That's how bad it is...(sigh)

you can export a site from dg... why not just export it and try it locally to see if there's any difference.

...seems like a lot of work...just to test the speed of Drupal 7 vs DG.

If i go that far...i will just drop DG.

For Me....DG at this point is serving as a learning ground for D7. I was advised this by more than one.

Anyone know if D7 is faster than DG?

In addition....d7 seems to be having a speed issue.

Hmm...hope all this is resolved soon.
