I've found that if this module is being used with the context module, the modal popup doesn't respect any conditions set for the node form by context. Context works fine on the standard node form, but if this is being referred to in a reference, it doesn't

Sorry, after some digging, I found out the problem had nothing to do with this module but it was modalframe. I will submit a patch there.
