Upgraded to Core 7.12. Tested site on local computer: When shopping cart order is sent for payment, connects to PayPal site fine and can complete order. Problem on host site: Uploaded to host site locally tested site. When cart order is sent for payment I am given "will connect to PayPal screen or in 10 seconds you can click on button to be transferred." See attached image. Does not forward to PayPal nor does the button forward to PayPal.
Order was created and is in View Order>Shopping Carts with "Checkout: Payment" status.
No errors occur in log report.
Fix Attempts: Attempt #1) retested on local computer. Worked fine. Uploaded to Host 2nd time. Result: Same problem. Attempt#2) Disabled Paypal, WPS module, Uninstalled module, deleted module folder. Reinstalled module on host site. Results: Same problem.
Why is host site acting different than local computer? I checked with host and they have no blocks on this kind of connection. Payment page seems to be non-functioning.

Stellar Rush commentedFound problem was due to masking of domain forwarding. Fixed by turning masking or stealth forward off at domain forwarding site. PayPal has a stop on accepting masked URLs. I am leaving this bug report active since anyone who installs Commerce_PayPal will want to know about this fix if they thought they could use masking or stealth domain forwarding. PayPal made the change to their policy sometime in Sept 2011. If a fix to the problem could be created or if PayPal changes their policy this would be great news for domain forwarding since masking makes the site URL show only the domain name. This also fixed a separate issue that my Favicon was not showing. Now, after turning off stealth forwarding (masking) the Favicon shows as well as PayPal is connecting. Only issue is that in the URL is that it now shows the entire URL path and not the domain name. But, at least my customers can pay for their purchases.

studiosphoenix commentedSame here! Does anyone have a workaround for this... without masking, the url is sure ugly :)
