By jack the blogger on

I have this big problem. Suddenly when i start uploading images, i get blank images. The original file is uploaded, but apparently image cache files are not. So what to do?

The images are 3 - 5 mb large, if I upload small images like 100 kb, everything works ok, but not for big ones

In the image field, do you have a file-size limit set? and/or have you checked on the php memory setting?

size limit is 10 mb

i dont now where to set the php memory settings?

it worked few days ago, but yesterday I could not upload images anymore

the image is uploaded, you get the small link to the original image, but the cache presets are not generated

I updated all modules, disabled boost, plup modules, i thought they were causing this but still get error

the image is uplaoded, but it is not converted into presets

i can upload images with small size like 100 kb, but bigger images like 3 mb all fail

Look in admin/reports/status for 'php memory limit'

If it is low (I have mine set at 128M) you could try increasing it. See http://drupal.org/node/207036

I set it up to 128, and it works!!!
