First off thank you ronald_istos for creating this "model" module. I have to say I personally wouldn't ever had learned the benefit of the Entity API if it wasn't for this module.

I see that users are adding bug reports into the issue queue for the model project and seem to be blaming that the "model" project does not work. The thing I think that should be noted before any user adds a bug report is that they test the "model" module as it sits on Drupal.org/project/model project page without any alternations. Many of the "bugs" listed are related to their alternations and should be filed as a support request instead. I suggest that the maintainers add some type of disclaimer to the project page.

I don't want to see Drupal users be discouraged to try the Model project for their own custom Entity solution because they review the project page and see a high number of bugs listed. I also would like encourage any Drupal user that has experience with the Model or Entity API project(s) to help the maintainers with the issue queue as this benefits the Drupal community at a whole.

Modules like Model and Examples are moving drupal developers to a better understanding of Drupal. Specifically Model teaches developers the benefit of Entities then creating "nodes" for everything.

Note that I only really found 3 issues that were marked as "bug reports" that I felt should had been reported as "support requests". I also only pertained to the current version release when reviewing issues in the issue queue.

I also suggested that if they altered the model project to make their own custom projects that they compress their custom module and post it as an attachment for someone in the Drupal community to review. I don't know if this is best practice on Drupal.org but it seemed like an effective way to support individuals.

Hi,

I confirm that Model module works fine for my projects. Thanks!

Of course, as any project, some bugs can occurs, but for this module, this is not important, because the purpose of it is to be completed to comply with specific needs.
