I am setting up a site for someone who releases open source code at long intervals. i would like to help them with the debugging process and development by using a CVS exactly like drupal does, exccept with c++. I am having trouble finding good documentation on how to do this with project, issue, and CVS. Can someone please send me to a source that can hold my hand or can you give me advice herein, on the fly? Thank you in advance, Ruben

anyone done it?
Bueller, Bueller? Anyone, anyone?
Just tring to bump it to keep it up onthe radar another day. I will probably venture into google answers if noone knows.
sorry, it's just not well documented
we're working on it, but the project* suite of modules and the cvs integration module just aren't documented particularly well, especially the mojo to get the cvs integration module configured properly with a CVS repository.
however, before you get that far, you really need to setup a CVS repository for this person's code, regardless of drupal. ;) so, start there. our cvs handbooks have some pointers to other useful cvs docs:
http://drupal.org/handbook/cvs (http://drupal.org/node/22287 in particular)
that said, a support issue in the queue is more likely to get good help from me (or other folks who know/care about the project* suite) than a random post to the forums (which, as luck would have it, i noticed, but that's not guaranteed).
cheers,
-derek
