Provide a datepicker widget (again)

it's was really easier select date with datepicker instead of select list

Ok. I want to be careful about adding this back, without recreating the mess. Maybe you can use the snapshot right after the fix for #1414912: Datepicker doesn't enter the year in the meantime.
