This looks like a bug to me but only appears on this project's page: http://drupal.org/project/galerie

It still says "SeeSchloss - 16 commits last: 1 year ago, first: 1 year ago" although the "View commits" page (http://drupal.org/node/773854/commits) shows that there has been a lot more commits than that, and more recently.

Project: Project » Version Control / Project* integration
Version: 6.x-1.0-alpha5 » 6.x-2.x-dev
Component: Projects » User interface
Status: Active » Closed (works as designed)

See http://drupal.org/node/1022156

You haven't properly identified yourself to Git, so our Git infrastructure has no way to associate those commits with your user ID. Therefore, the versioncontrol_project module can't say there are more commits happening for that project since it doesn't know they're from you.
