Remove scrollbars in the video frame box in Drupal 7

When using emfield with a colorbox trigger for video display in Drupal 7, there are horizontal and vertical scrollbars (see attached screen shot). This issue was well resolved for Drupal 6 (http://drupal.org/node/458966 and http://drupal.org/node/1050792). Since this is about Drupal 7, I thought a new issue was in order.

I searched through every module I could think of, including emfield, media, media_internet, media_brower_plus, in the hopes finding something like theme_emvideo_modal_generic() from Drupal 6 or the word 'colorbox'. My goal is to create this patch and submit it here for review. But, so far, no go.

This is a Drupal issue because with all the site conditions being the same, if you add this markup to a block:
