Directly go to Component/display UI to user?

Is there some built-in way that I can take the user directly to the UI of my component? e.g. I've built a rule that takes some action based on the Flag module, and I'd like to provide a link that the user can click to go directly to the component's form in order to have the rule executed. Or do I need to build a custom module that will handle creating a url and display, then calling the component?
