When trying to migrate from a drupal 7.10 platform, to a 7.12 platform, my site migration failed with the following errors.

Could not generate database backup from mysqldump. (error: sh: /var/aegir/platforms/drupal-7.10/sites/3dfrag.org.uk/database.sql: Permission denied sed: couldn't write 44 items to stdout: Broken pipe mysqldump: Got errno 32 on write )

Whilst that is an issue in itself, all my sites then seemed to lose their db details, resulting in install screens appearing on all sites (v6 and v7 sites). I had to reverify all sites for the details to come back and the sites to reappear.

Not sure where to begin to debug this, but happy to poke around if someone can give me a steer.

We haven't heard of any other such cases, and haven't been able to replicate it ourselves. Feel free to re-open should you be able to provide steps to replicate it.
