On a site where some of the content is to go under CC and other content the creator wants to retain full rights, how does one use this module?

You can make license available only for your selected content type. Goto administer->settings->content types and click on configure the content type that you don't want to have licence and uncheck Apply the Creative Commons..

For some content types (I'm thinking the audio module in particular), you want some content to have creative commons license, and some not to. You can't install the audio module more than once. Can you add another option for no creative commons license at all? I think it just needs to be made optional to pick a license.
