Since features use the url of a menu item as array key, there can only be one menu item in features.

You're allowed to input whatever after when creating menu items, ie 

<nolink>/whatever.

Therefore I wrote this patch that allows you to use multiple tags in features, by making them unique.

#2 worked, you can name your separator to be 

caption: Groups separator
path: <separator>/groups

and nolink to be

caption: Groups
path: <nolink>/groups

this way you can export them in features
