Since 'upgrading' from the previous 2.x-dev to 2.0-beta3, events are opening in a new window, although I have 'Open events in same window' checked in the FullCalendar settings.

It seems I broke this in #1427664: Don't use hook_fullcalendar_options_submit when not appropriate, sorry about that.
Fixed by this commit: http://drupalcode.org/project/fullcalendar.git/commit/853c26b

Anytime.

Issues are marked "fixed" so that they show up in the open issues queue for two weeks, then are automatically moved to "closed (fixed)". This helps reduce duplicates in the queue.
