I'm encountering an issue with comments on unpublished nodes. By default, all of the nodes in my system are being created as unpublished. I believe this is activating the disqus_developer flag and closing the comments. However, when the node is changed to published, the comments are not re-opening. They only re-open after making a configuration change to the Disqus settings directly for that node (i.e. 'saving' the number of days that comments are allowed to remain open).

Could an accommodation be made that would remove the disqus_developer flag when a node is published?
