Is it possible to use a Drupal ID to log in to an OpenID site elsewhere? If not, I'd like to suggest it as a feature.

Yes. That's the OpenID Server component you selected. Enable the server module, and you're done :P

Wait, where's the server module? This is all I see on the module list...

OpenID 5.x-1.x-dev Allows Drupal to act as an OpenID relying party.

Still closed. The OpenID download is a bundle of modules. e.g. you'll see the openid_sreg subfolder for instance.

The server is only available (ATM) in the 4.7-2 branch, it has yet to be ported. But it will be, and there are other tickets for that.

Well, I changed it to an open support request, rather than a closed feature request.

So the server isn't ported to 5.0? Gotcha.
