Is is possible to set the initial scaling of a Zen sub-them to "Fit-width" for mobile devices?

Yeah, I know Zen 5 is in a bit of an odd spot at the moment.

It has responsive meta tags so that mobile devices don't zoom out to 960px. But Zen 5 doesn't yet have a responsive layout. So you end up with a fixed width 960px layout zoomed in to 320px (or whatever) on a mobile device and you can't see the entire page on first load.

The fix is to turn off the responsive meta tags on the theme's settings form. Or to add a responsive layout. See #1181622: Add responsive layouts to Zen

I'm going to close this issue since we're already working on adding a responsive layout. Feel free to re-open if I didn't understand your request.
