I'm currently redeveloping our Intranet and have a dev site setup.

It uses the core profile module for user accounts and all I want to do is simply create a page view which lists all user accounts and some of the fields associated with each account, however in the current version of Views, this seems impossible to do.

When I create a view, I set 'Show' to 'Fields', but when I go to add a field, User does not show in the list (or the Filter drop down), so I'm unable to add any user fields.

I've cleared all Caches and what not with no affect and looking online, someone suggested creating a relationship of 'Content:Author' which does then show User in the fields list (including all custom fields for the user accounts that I have created) however when adding all the fields in, no data is actually shown. I feel that the realtionship is wrong, but it's the only way Views will even show the User fields as options.

The current version of the Intranet is using an older version of Views 7.x-3.x-dev and using that I have setup a profile block which enables me to add in User fields without needing to setup a relationship.

So what am I doing wrong with the current version of Views??? Someone please help me as I'm pulling my hair out of this!!!
