I am looking for a way to control the separate menu for the Organig Groups group navigation. It appears that out of the box the menu basically lists the different content type items a user can create, the group forum etc. I want to change the sequence of some of these items, put in a couple of new items (basically to the group's homepage and filestore) and get rid of quite a few of these items to keep the interface easy to handle for less experienced users.
One way of (partly) achieving this seems to be to mark some of the content I want to disappear in the OG 'Omitted content types:' configuration field. However, I do not want to restrict the users from creating this content, I want the respective 'create content' to disappear. It also does not solve the problem of having additional links in the menu or getting rid of links in the menu.
Any ideas?

Yup
I'm looking for this too - haven't figured out a way to create custom menus as of yet. I will let you know if I do.

OG Content Types
Well, it appears that part of the answer is the OG Content Types module - it allows you to make certain content types unavailable within specific groups. What it does not do, unfortunately, is let you change the sequence of items on the menu, include other menu items etc. I reckon that for that you would have to change the PHP code...
Struggling with this as well
I tried to limit what URLs should be there to have this menu appear, but that breaks down with the links that add things (like events, forum posts, stories, etc). I can't figure out what URL to put in the block configurations to keep this menu there for all group activities...ugh.
Has anyone figured this out
Has anyone figured this out yet??
