I have two custom notifications setup which have their own message keys but when outputting the keys from the mimemail template it's showing the default 'mail-messaging-message-notifications'.

I'm not entirely sure where the issue lies, my implementation of the notifications part follows the standard set by the module. Any tips on getting to the bottom of this or has anyone seen it before?

How does your notification setup look like exactly? Are you using a custom or a contrib module to compose the message?
