The "Available updates" report shows the Webform module (version 6x-2.10) highlighted in red, says there's a security update required (6x.-3.15), and recommends that I download the new module, which I've done.
I've uploaded this - as I've done for many other modules on many other Drupal sites - but the warning is not going away, and it continues to show the old version number.
When I look at the "webform.info" file for this module on my server (under /modules/webform), it is the correct one, the new one, and includes this line:
version = "6.x-3.15"
So why is the "Available updates" page getting this wrong?
Thanks.

Sam problem upgrading Webform module
I'm having the same problem. I continue to get the security update warning. The update process does not seem to detect the new version despite the new version being there. I have cleared the cache and checked the version file in the Webform module.
I'm hoping somebody can help...
Rob
Maybe time to create an issue for this?

If more than one of you is having the same problem, it stands to reason that something isn't right in that module. I'm surprised not to see an existing issue in the queue that addresses this, but.... When in doubt, run cron, run update.php, then check again, and if the problem persists, create a new issue. ;-)
See you at the Drupalcon!
Version update modules
Had the same problem with several modules. I renamed the old version for the case something went wrong. For some modules, this is not a problem, for other modules, it is. I deleted all the old versions ande everything is ok now.
