When adding images via Insert modules with enabled Pathauto and Transliteration there is problem with properly displaying images with colorbox. Pathauto and Transliteration modules often change image name and colorbox is linking to old name - and can't display it.

This problem doesn't exist when:

A - you manually change image name (before uploading) and it's correct with pathauto and transliteration settings (so they won't change it's name),
B - after saving node with wrong path you reopen it, delete images and add them via Insert again.

It's an anoint bug. Colorbox should get image path after Pathauto and Transliteration modules do made changes on it.

Have you tried using Insert without Colorbox?

My guess is that this is a Insert module problem and one that is hard to fix.
