It appears the default sort order of the people administration screen at admin/people is to display the most recent users first. I'm looking for a way to change the default to be ascending by username, but don't see an obvious way to do this. Is there a way to change the default sort order for this table so it doesn't need to be done manually each time?

I think the easiest way to do this is to enable the view titled "Content" ... it will be a separate view and a separate page, but you can customize what items to show and what the default sort will be.
