Hi,

I am using Views module to display a list of nodes for the currently logged in user to which he is subscribed to.

The problem is that I have added a "Has new content" field in the view, to make the new nodes distinct, but it always shows the "New" marker even after the user clicks and views the node. Even after clearing cache, logging out and logging again, cron run, etc etc.

Is there any solution to this. This issue experienced by anyone else?

Hi Lisa, Do you know about any alternative solution available for this problem?? I mean any other method or module by which we can show unread nodes to a user which become read when the user actually views the nodes? And we can differentiate between read and unread, etc!

Have you searched the issue queue? If anyone else has run into it, it would be there. If not, it's likely interaction with another module on your site.

Hi I searched for it before but there were just 2-3 posts like these on the web which were left un-answered like mine.

I was using 6.x-13 version of Views. Now upgraded to latest 6.x-16 version. Now it is working fine. It was due to some bug in previous version which has been fixed in the latest releases.

Now everything is working perfectly!
