So I've installed Media and Media:YouTube and Media:Vimeo and when I try to submit a YouTube video it does say that YouTube and Vimeo are both allowed.
Strangely I have two different coloured icons for Youtube (as well as one for Vimeo)

But when I submit a URL I get this error

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc80tFJpTuo could not be added. Only the following types of files are allowed to be uploaded: image

Is this a config error or a bug?

OK, I think I solved my own problem. Yes it was a config error.

I think that when I created my data type with a Media field the Youtube and Vimeo modules weren't installed. So the default config was that they weren't enabled...
